Our Story and Mission

Green Economy Law Professional Corporation is a boutique Toronto, Ontario-based law firm. We provide specialized legal counsel and services for businesses and non-profit organization operating in the sustainability and psychedelic sectors. We also assist clients with housing-related matters.

Our Clients

We work with clients located across Canada, with most being situated in Ontario or British Columbia. We also work with clients outside of Canada looking to do business in the country (see our “Clients Outside Ontario” page for more information). In the future, we plan to operate a branch of the firm out of Brooklyn, New York serving US-based clients.

Our History

The firm was founded in 2020 by Marc Z. Goldgrub, formerly an associate at premiere New York media firm Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks.

Since launching, the firm has:

  • Worked with numerous personal, business, and non-profit clients from across Canada and the United States;

  • Been featured in Bloomberg, the Toronto Star, CBC, and other publications; and

  • Won various court and Landlord-Tenant Board cases, while successfully settling scores of commercial and housing-related disputes without a trial.

Offerings

In addition to our legal services, the firm:

  • publishes a monthly newsletter on the first Saturday of each month covering the latest in sustainability and psychedelic law news;

  • publishes a blog about climate and environmental news, law and policy;

  • publishes a blog called LTB Whisperer about housing law; and

  • runs a website about Canadian psychedelic law called PsychedelicLaw.ca.
