Marc is the founding lawyer at Green Economy Law Professional Corporation.
After serving in the Israeli military and graduating from Cardozo Law in New York City, Marc worked as a junior associate at the premier American media law firm Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks. Returning to his hometown of Toronto in 2018, he earned a legal Master’s degree in Canadian law, then passed the Ontario bar exam. In February 2020, (with impeccable timing) he launched this firm to focus on solving the world’s greatest challenges, one case at a time.
Marc frequently writes about environment, health, and housing policy, and his articles have been published by the Toronto Star, BlogTO, NOW Magazine, the National Observer, Energy Mix, and Psychedelic Spotlight. He runs the websites PsychedelicLaw.ca and vegandigitalnomad.com, and has been quoted in Bloomberg, CBC, CTV News, The Trillium, Psychedelic Alpha, Tripsitter, and other media.
Outside of his work with the firm, Marc is a member of the Toronto Community Bikeways Coalition and sits on the VegTO board of directors (he’s been vegan since 2011, plant-based since 2006).
You can learn more about his path to founding the firm here, his vegan conversion story here, and follow him on LinkedIn for daily policy musings.
